Christmas Trees, Handsaws and News on the Catalyst Pedal’s Arrival

Yesterday I learned a valuable lesson about having the right tool for the job while putting up my Christmas tree.

After picking out our tree and bringing it home, I realized something…my ceilings were not as tall as I thought they were. Our tree was standing in the corner bent over at the top and needed about 6 inches taken off the bottom of it to fit.

So I went out into my garage to cut it off. I figured that I would just grab my handsaw and make quick work of it. As you can probably guess, it wasn’t that easy. I couldn’t find my wood handsaw and tried to go at it with my hacksaw.

Now, I don’t know if you have ever tried to cut wet wood with a hacksaw but it is a lesson in futility. Oh sure, I was making some headway but I was working my butt off and not doing it very fast.

I finally was able to track down my wood handsaw and get the job finished. We got our tree up and lights up and now we are officially ready for Santa.

My point is that without the right tools you can make your job much harder than it needs to be.

And on the trail the right “tool” for your feet is the Catalyst Pedal. Just like using a hacksaw on a tree, pedals made to support the ball of the foot can get the job done but they make you work much harder to do it.

With the support that your foot really needs, the Catalyst Pedal allows you to move more efficiently so you can go faster and expend less energy doing it. This allows you to work smarter and not harder, which should be a major goal for all of us on the trail.

Speaking of which, I have some major news about the Catalyst Pedal – they have shipped from the factory and should be ready to send out in the next 2-3 weeks. This means that, barring any setbacks, they should be ready to ship out by the end of the year.

This also means that you only have a few more weeks to take advantage of the pre-sale pricing of only $109. Once they are in stock and shipping the price will go up to $139 so click here to buy your pedals before it does.

I’m really excited about this next step in the journey and I can’t wait to get the Catalyst Pedal to riders everywhere.

Until next time…
Ride Strong,

James Wilson
