This month’s photo contest winner of a free pair of Catalyst Pedals.

Hope that the weather is starting to turn where you’re at and the riding is starting to shape up. We’ve had a few weeks of warmer weather here and I’ve been having a lot of fun getting out on the trails with my trail mutt Aka.
I’ve been posting some pics and videos of Aka and me on the trail on the Pedaling Innovations Instagram and Facebook page including some short riding clips of the Catalyst Pedals in action. We have some really rocky, technical terrain in Grand Junction and I wanted to show how the larger platforms perform going up and coming down.
Which leads me to the main point of this email, which is to announce the winner of this month’s photo contest – @hyperk83 on Instagram. They will get a free pair of Catalyst Pedals just for posting a picture of the Catalyst Pedals and tagging us in it.

And remember that you could be next. You can enter the as many times as you want each month, just use #pedalinginnovations and/ or #catalystpedal when you post a picture of the Catalyst Pedals to social media and/or tag us in the photo/video @pedalinginnovations.
This month I’d love to see some videos of the pedals in action as well, I might have to start looking at a video and photo category each month if we get enough submissions.
I also wanted to share a testimonial I got last week from a longtime friend in the mountain bike media. I sent Scott a pair of Catalyst Pedals to check out a few weeks ago and then one day I got this in my inbox...
“Got the pedals — hot damn, these things are what you say!
Haven't been on flats in a minute as the kids say, but as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in "Full Metal Jacket" said to Gomer Pyle after he finally learned to fire his gun properly I gotta say, "I am definitely born again HARD!"
Riding like a man again, weighting the backend properly and getting after it on the bike. Thanks!
I'll report more soon, but I think you've create a convert in me!
Also got my manuals back. All credited to better balance from the pedals.”
Scott Hart – MTB Media Veteran
That was by far the funniest feedback I’ve gotten so far but it seems about right coming from Scott.
Scott’s kind of an underground guy in the industry and so he doesn’t like for me to go into his background too much but let’s just say that he’s been around a loooong time and he’s not easily impressed.
Like most people who’ve spent much time in the mountain bike industry, he’s heard a lot of promises and seen few things back those promises up. It tends to make people a little jaded and critical, so when he’s this pumped on the Catalyst Pedals, well, then I think it says a lot about them.
If you haven’t gotten your pair of Catalyst Pedals then click on the link below to order your pair today. While I have another shipment on the way I am running low on a few colors and I’d hate to see you have to wait a few weeks if we end up on backorder.

That’s it for now, enjoy the rest of your Friday and I hope you have some great riding plans for the weekend.
Until next time…
Ride Strong,
James Wilson
