Where's your science Mr. Clipless?

One of the most annoying things about sharing the science about the pedal stroke with people is when they say that 1) this only applies to mountain biking and 2) I'm "cherry picking" the studies.
Well, my answer to this is...Where's your science Mr. Clipless?
